Thirty Never Felt So Good
Let me just start this off by giving praise to The Most High. Whew! šš½ What a decade. My emotions are over the place. I couldnāt be more grateful. I think that the best word to describe what I am feeling is: happiness.
My 30th birthday was a success to say the least. I wore a pink (not surprising lol) crinkle corset bandeau bodycon dress from PLT that fit like a glove. I paired it with black square toe mules, my Jacquemus mini bag and my Grandmotherās fur coat. Itās giving elegance. And I was very pleased with how I did my makeup. The Charlotte Tilbury airbrush matte bronzer always does it for me. Iāve also been obsessed with using the Chanel lip pencil in the nude brun color to give my lips a fuller look.
As you know one of my favorite hobbies is trying new restaurants around the city so it was only right that I celebrated my birthday doing exactly that. The restaurant of choice was Gino & Martyās. I just realized that Iāve been hanging out in the west loop a lot lately haha. Anyway, the decor was gorgeous and they had some of the most delicious Italian food. Almost everything on the menu ended up on our table. The Spicy Gnocchi and Sunday Sauce were my favorite pastas. The branzino and herbed salmon were good also! š½ļø
For appetizers we ate the bread and meatballs, yum! Unfortunately I did not order a cute cocktail which is so unlike me but I was considering my go-to espresso martini or the Manhattan. Oh, did I mention that I decided to dye my hair jet black at the salon this week!? Iām in love with this color.
The next morning I woke up at the Palmer House with a bottle of my favorite champagne on the night stand beside me. For some reason the sleep hits different that first night you check-in a hotel haha. I was on cloud nine to tell you the truth. This birthday was very special for me. I was surrounded by love and positive vibes! š¾āØ
Cheers to being 30 I have a strong feeling this will be my best era yet!
xoxo, Briea šš„š§
