Hey y’all so today’s blog is more behind the scenes of my lookbook for Akira. This look was so fun to put together because I love two piece sets and this one was holographic so it was super trendy. I paired the outfit with a transparent hot pink mini bag from TheStyleAnimal.Co. Akira is also one of my favorite brands so I really appreciate them for gifting me with clothes. Melrose Ave was the provided the perfect setting for this shoot. It’s the home of colorful walls and cute shops. 

But first coffee! ☕️

I love exploring new places so before the shoot we stopped at Carrera Cafe. The deco was cute there was a pink vintage telephone in the back and a ‘Ciao Bella’ neon sign on the wall that you see as soon as you walk in. They offered a variety of goodies there like donuts 🍩 pastries and all sorts of sweets that I don’t need 😂. Of course I ordered an iced latte and it wouldn’t be me if I didn’t sprinkle some Chanel on top.

The infamous Pink Wall was right across the street so that super convenient! At first I didn’t want to shoot in front of the wall because I thought the bright pink would be too much for my outfit but Lawrence insisted that we take pictures there. So you let me your thoughts in the comments 💭 but I think the photos turned out pretty amazing! Walking down Melrose turned into a mini shopping spree because we ran into one of my favorite fashion boutiques, Sorella. I go there at least once a month for sure. The owner, Heather Sanders has always been an inspiration to me and I’ve been following her journey for years now. She started Sorella with $500 and it is now a million dollar brand. She was also just featured in Forbes!
